Los Azulejos Tequila Anejo – Masterpiece Collection is 100% Agave and aged in oak barrels for close to three years. Azulejos are the hand-painted tiles that have been used for centuries in Mexico to decorate the most expensive homes and haciendas. Azulejos cover patios, benches, walls, fountains, bathrooms, and kitchens in Mexico and are a big part of the culture, heritage and architecture. The Masterpiece Collection began as a limited edition collectors series for fall 2009. The first collection features 6 different paintings on the bottle, which are inspired by Pablo Picasso’s work. Picasso is arguably the most recognizable painter of the 20th century. Each bottle has the same design and painting on both sides and are hand-painted by Mexican artisans in Puebla, Mexico, home of Talavera Pottery
