Description
The famed Sazerac Coffee House was founded in 1850 at 13 Exchange Alley, New Orleans, Louisiana. Although styled a “Coffee House”, it was, in fact, a saloon. The Sazerac Coffee House gained fame as the home of the Sazerac, “America’s First Cocktail.”
The family-owned Sazerac Company has since become the proud owner of the original Kentucky distillery that supplied that rye whiskey to the Sazerac Coffee Housee, and is, after a 110-year absence, pleased to bring you Sazerac 18 Year Old Rye Whiskey. Sazerac 18 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey demonstrates a sophistication and style that is second to none. A hearty whiskey with a strong body, a mellow spice and a dry sweetness that dances on the tongue, it is the only 18 year old whiskey worthy of the Sazerac name.
