Description

Springbank whiskies are made using a “lightly peated” barley, which may please some consumers who might be overwhelmed by the heavy peat aromas of, say, Laphroaig and other famous single malts. Springbank is also proud of their “unique two-and-half-times distillation” giving the whisky “a character all its own.”

Springbank Distillery is one of the last surviving producers of Campbeltown Single Malts located on the southern Kintyre peninsula. They carry out the full production process all on their own site with no chill-filtering and no artificial colors.

Springbank 10yr is one of the younger expressions available from the label.
